Baird Foundation Repair Receives Woman-Owned Business Certification

We are extremely proud to proclaim that Baird Foundation Repair received the Texas SBA® Woman Owned Business Certification! It all started when William “H.” Baird, Melanie’s father, started the business in 1969. Later in 1983, H passed away, which led to John and Melanie Chaney becoming sole owners of the family business. 30+ years later, John and Melanie are still the fearless leaders of Baird continue to remain involved in the day-to-day activities of Baird. It is fulfilling for her to see the impact Baird has in restoring customers’ homes and on the employees who are responsible for making it all happen.

The recognition of women business owners by the Texas Small Business Administration (SBA) helps women distinguish their businesses from others. It also opens more opportunities for these innovative and successful women throughout the great state of Texas.
