Challenge
In Montgomery, Texas, a homeowner wanted to take care of an issue that had become more important with time: protecting his driveway before passing the family home down to his sons. At 94 years old, safety was a top priority, but so was preserving the appearance of a property he had taken pride in for years. The aging concrete had become uneven and created concerns about both curb appeal and everyday use. He wanted a long-term concrete repair solution that would restore the driveway, improve safety, and leave the home in great condition for the next generation.
Solution
After reaching out to Baird Foundation Repair, the homeowner scheduled a professional inspection to determine the best path forward. Our team identified areas of settlement and recommended a complete 3-part concrete repair approach using PolyLevel®, NexusPro®, and SealantPro®. PolyLevel® was used to lift and level the sunken sections of the driveway by filling voids beneath the concrete with lightweight polyurethane foam. Once the surface was restored, NexusPro® sealed the joints and cracks to help reduce future water intrusion, and SealantPro® was applied to add lasting surface protection.
Result
With the project complete, the driveway had a smoother, more even appearance and offered safer access around the home. The repaired concrete improved both function and curb appeal while helping protect against future movement and wear. Most importantly, the homeowner gained confidence knowing he had invested in preserving his property and creating something lasting to pass along to his sons.
