Challenge
A homeowner in San Antonio was preparing to sell their home within the next couple of years and noticed the driveway and walkway had become uneven and cracked. Knowing these issues could raise concerns for potential buyers and potentially lower the home’s value, they wanted a reliable fix that would help preserve the property’s appeal.
Solution
The homeowner contacted Baird Foundation Repair for help restoring their settling concrete. After a Customer Care Specialist scheduled the inspection, a System Design Specialist evaluated the area and recommended a repair plan to stabilize and restore a more even surface.
The solution included PolyLevel® to raise and support the affected slabs and NexusPro® Joint Sealant to seal joints and cracks and help reduce future water intrusion.
Our production team drilled small pea-sized holes and injected high-strength polyurethane foam beneath the slabs to carefully restore the surface. Once the concrete was adjusted, the joints and cracks were sealed with NexusPro®, and the crew completed a full cleanup, leaving the area neat and ready to use.
Result
The driveway and walkway were restored to a level, smooth, and visually appealing condition. The repairs improved the home’s curb appeal and gave the homeowner confidence that the concrete would no longer be a concern when it came time to sell. The upgraded surfaces now support long-term value and create a strong first impression for future buyers.
