Challenge

A homeowner in Three Rivers, Texas, contacted Baird Foundation Repair after noticing growing cracks and stubborn stains across their carport and back patio. Beyond the cosmetic concerns, the issue became more personal: their elderly dog frequently used the area, and repeated staining had penetrated the concrete, making routine cleaning ineffective. The homeowner wanted a long-term solution that would protect the concrete, improve its appearance, and create a safer, more durable surface.

Solution

The process began with a call to our Customer Care team, who scheduled a comprehensive inspection with one of our System Design Specialist. After evaluating the condition of the concrete, we identified both surface damage and uneven slabs contributing to the problem.

We recommended our 3-part concrete protection system tailored to the homeowner’s needs:

  • PolyLevel® – to lift and stabilize uneven sections of the carport and patio
  • NexusPro® – to seal cracks and joints, preventing water intrusion and further damage
  • DecoShield® – to resurface and protect the concrete with a durable, moisture-resistant finish

Our production team began by installing PolyLevel®, injecting high-strength polyurethane foam beneath the slabs to lift and level the concrete. Once the surface was stabilized, NexusPro® was applied to seal cracks and joints, protecting the concrete from moisture and future deterioration. To complete the project, DecoShield® was added, creating a long-lasting protective barrier that refreshed the appearance of the carport and patio while helping prevent future staining.

Result

After the installation, the carport and patio were transformed into a smooth, refreshed, and protected surface. Previous stains were effectively masked, cracks were sealed, and uneven areas were stabilized. Most importantly, the homeowner gained peace of mind knowing their concrete was protected – and their dog’s habits were no longer a lasting concern.

This project reflects Baird Foundation Repair’s commitment to delivering durable solutions, improved safety, and results that homeowners can enjoy for years to come.
