Challenge
A homeowner in San Antonio, Texas, noticed that the concrete slab at his garage entry had begun to sink over time. The uneven surface made it difficult to pull vehicles in and out without scraping and created a noticeable trip hazard. During inspection, our team found that soil washout beneath the slab had caused voids to form under the concrete. Over time, the lack of proper support led the slab to sink and become uneven.
Solution
To restore the surface, our System Design Specialist recommended a complete concrete lifting and protection solution. Our production crew began by injecting PolyLevel®, a high-density polyurethane foam, beneath the slab. As the foam expanded, it filled the voids caused by washout and gently raised the concrete back to its proper level. After lifting, we sealed joints and cracks with NexusPro® Joint Sealant to prevent future water intrusion and reduce the risk of continued erosion. To finish the repair, we applied SealantPro®, a protective coating that shields the concrete from moisture and chemical damage, extending its lifespan and maintaining its appearance.
Result
Once the work was complete, the garage entry was smooth, stable, and protected against future settling. The homeowner was relieved to have a lasting solution that eliminated the scraping issue and improved the overall look of his driveway. Impressed by the results, he later asked our team to apply the 3-Part Concrete Protection System to his front walkway as well. This concrete repair in San Antonio is a great example of how our team restores both function and peace of mind, one slab at a time.
