A homeowner in Portland, Texas, was preparing to sell their home when they noticed their concrete driveway had become uneven and cracked. Beyond affecting the property’s curb appeal, the damaged concrete was something they wanted to address before putting the home on the market. The homeowner contacted Baird Foundation Repair for a professional inspection and a solution that would improve both the appearance and condition of the driveway.
Solution
After the initial consultation, a Baird System Design Specialist inspected the driveway and developed a repair plan based on the condition of the concrete. Our production team used PolyLevel® to fill voids beneath the driveway and carefully lift the settled concrete back toward a more level position. Once the concrete was stabilized, the team applied NexusPro® Joint Sealant to the existing cracks and joints to help keep water from penetrating beneath the concrete. To complete the project, DecoShield® was applied to give the driveway a refreshed appearance while providing an additional layer of protection against moisture and everyday wear.
Results
The completed project gave the homeowner a smoother, more stable, and better-looking driveway before listing the property for sale. By addressing the uneven concrete, sealing the cracks and joints, and improving the overall appearance, Baird Foundation Repair helped give the driveway a refreshed look that complemented the home.
