Crawl Space Encapsulation

Providing long-lasting structural solutions through crawl space encapsulation.

Your crawl space plays can integral part in your home’s structure. If your crawl space begins to rot, grow mold or experience structural problems, this will extend to every part of your home. Our solutions can ensure your crawl space is a drier, healthier space. Typical crawl spaces are moldy, foul-smelling spaces that homeowners avoid at all costs. Many of them flood and they’re often filled with debris leftover from when the house was constructed. At Baird Foundation Repair, it’s our job to make sure that your musty crawl space is transformed into a cleaner, drier, healthier and more energy-efficient space.

Our Solutions

MOISTURE IN YOUR HOME

Often, homeowners have trouble preventing water vapor and humidity from passing through their crawl space and into their homes. This can lead to damage to your home’s structure and sometimes homeowners’ health. The CleanSpace® Vapor Barrier is a durable, bright white crawl space liner installed on the walls and floors of your crawl spaces, and keeps your crawl space dry, protecting your home and its insulation from mold and rot. This durable 20-mil poly-reinforced crawl space liner converts your crawl space into a usable storage area. And with its mold-resistant additive, it will never support mildew or mold growth on its surface!

SAGGING CRAWL SPACES

The SmartJack® Crawl Space Stabilizer is an adjustable supplemental support system used for sagging crawl spaces that not only provides supplemental support to your failing structure but can also often lift failing floor joints or beams, restoring them to their original position in even the smallest of crawl spaces. This unique system can be installed year-round and is made with strong, corrosion-resistant, galvanized steel. Because your system will not develop rust, it will remain adjustable for years, should you need to perform future adjustments.

ACCESS WELL

As part of our crawl space vapor barrier system, we offer a durable plastic crawl space access well. Providing an airtight cover, this product serves as a crawl space, access well and door combined! Made to replace those old concrete, wooden or metal crawl space access wells, it’s just what you need for a more attractive and long-lasting choice. Available in multiple colors, our access wells don’t need to be painted or refinished. Resistant to mold and moisture damage, these products are designed to keep out rain and debris. Maintain your crawl space and gain easy access beneath your home with an access well from Baird Foundation Repair.

CRAWL SPACE DOOR

Typical crawl space doors are made with painted wood panels and usually held on by metal nails or hinges. However, wood rots and metal rusts, and when they’re installed on your home, they quickly begin to fall apart. Baird’s Crawl Space Door is the answer to this problem! Installing a Crawl Space Door in your home is fast and easy, and it’s usually done within the hour. One installer puts your crawl space door in place while the rest of your crew completes the crawl space repair.

MOLD AND MILDEW PREVENTION

Mold and mildew are common in crawl spaces and can affect your home’s structure and your family’s health. Baird offers a high-efficiency ENERGY STAR® certified dehumidifier, the SaniDry Sedona, which removes more moisture (100 pints per day) for less electricity cost than conventional models. The SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier drains automatically and has a humidity sensor that monitors the air, so once it’s installed, there’s nothing else to do. Your crawl space will be drier and healthier – and so will the rest of your home too!

Trust We've Earned

Dear Mr. Chaney: Too often companies get sent and commendations get filed in the future folder. My wife Carolyn and I want to thank you for the work your crew did in our crawl-space, replacing eight water-damaged floor joists and over forty feet of 2 x 4 toe-plate last month. The work crew included Gabriel, Hector, and Israel led by their chief, Jesus. They arrived as scheduled and worked diligently to finish in two days. And they even reconnected the A/C condensate PVC that had caused the rotting of the wood in the first place. Despite much creaking and popping noise during the hydraulic lifting, the only damage to our 70+ year-old house was minor cracking in the bathroom's ceramic-tile floor. Your firm had been recommended by service persons in the building trades, and we will add our recommendation whenever anyone mention foundation problems. May the Lord continue to bless you, your family, and your business. Sincerely, William M. and Carolyn A. Gisler
